A 24-inch push broom is a practical match for open garage floors. Libman’s documented multi-surface model gives the comparison a real head width and replacement-handle context with a documented 24-inch head and an available replacement handle.
Where this exact product fits
Use it for dry leaves, grit and ordinary workshop debris on a mostly open slab. Choose a narrower head where shelving legs, parked vehicles or tight corners dominate.
Checks that decide the purchase
Check whether the current offer is the complete broom or a replacement part. Hang it by the handle so the bristles are not stored under load, and collect hazardous dust with the method required for that material.

Match the broom to the floor and debris
The #805 uses flagged polymer fibers intended for multi-surface sweeping. That is useful for ordinary dust and mixed light debris, but a rough outdoor slab with large leaves may favor stiffer unflagged fibers. Wet, oily or sticky material needs a squeegee, absorbent or mop rather than being spread by the broom.
The 24-inch head saves passes only where it can travel freely. Measure the lanes between a parked car, bench legs and cabinets. A narrower broom is the better purchase if the wider block repeatedly catches on storage.
Storage and upkeep
Libman documents a standard threaded handle secured with a locking bolt. Check that the selected offer includes the handle and hardware. Tighten a loose connection before sweeping; wobble at the head reduces control.
Remove wrapped string and impacted debris from the fibers, rinse only when the collected material permits it, and let the broom dry. Store it hanging from the handle hole so the fibers do not flatten against the floor.
