RIDGID lists 57003 for common faucet mounting nuts, supply-line nuts and some sink strainers. It does not fit every proprietary faucet fastener.

Where it fits

It suits cramped cabinets where its short body and included inserts match the visible nut. A traditional basin wrench reaches other shapes and depths.

Purchase and use checks

Inspect the faucet instructions and nut geometry before buying. Shut off water, relieve pressure and support supply lines so tool force does not twist plumbing.

The Amazon button is an exact-product search. Confirm the selected offer and included parts before ordering.

When a Different Tool Makes More Sense

A faucet mounting wrench set is not the best answer for every under-sink job.

Use something else if:

  • The fastener is badly rounded or rusted
  • The cabinet is so cramped that a different wrench style would reach better
  • The job is only a simple, open-space supply-line connection
  • You already own a tool that handles the same task more directly

In those cases, forcing a wrench set into the job usually adds frustration instead of saving time.

Identify the mounting nut

Photograph the underside of the faucet before disassembly. The RIDGID inserts cover several common tabbed and hex shapes, but a proprietary clamp or oversized nut may need the faucet maker’s tool. Compare the visible shape and size with RIDGID’s catalog before ordering.

Clear cleaners and stored items from the cabinet. Place a towel below the connections and use a light so the tool seats fully. A partially engaged plastic tab can shear before the nut moves.

Control force under the sink

Support the faucet above while loosening or tightening its mount. Hold the shutoff or supply fitting with a suitable second tool so torque does not twist a tube. The EZ Change tool is made for common installation torque, not seized fasteners.

After reassembly, restore water slowly and inspect supply and drain connections with dry tissue. Recheck after operating the faucet through its full range.
