OXO’s compact brush stores in a ventilated canister and uses a replaceable brush head. The design reduces footprint; it does not disinfect itself.

Where it fits

It fits routine bowl cleaning where the canister can sit clear of splash and floor-cleaning paths.

Purchase and use checks

Use a bowl-surface-compatible cleaner, avoid mixing chemicals, rinse the head, let excess water drain and clean the canister regularly.

The brush cannot solve mineral rings

Ordinary brushing removes loose soil. A mineral ring, damaged glaze or recurring stain needs a bowl-safe treatment chosen for that surface and water condition. Abrasive tools can permanently roughen porcelain, making later cleaning harder. Follow both the toilet and cleaner instructions before escalating.

Clean without damaging the bowl

Use a cleaner approved by the toilet manufacturer and allow only its stated contact time. Do not mix bleach, acids or ammonia products. Flush completely between different products and provide bathroom ventilation.

Brush under the rim, through the waterline and around the trap opening without striking porcelain with the handle. Persistent rust or mineral rings need a bowl-safe treatment chosen for the deposit; a harder abrasive can permanently roughen the glaze.

Keep the canister sanitary

Rinse the head in clean flush water, let excess water drain over the bowl and return it only when dripping has stopped. Empty and wash the canister before standing water develops odor. OXO sells replacement heads, so check the exact compatible refill rather than discarding the entire set.

Position the canister where it will not be kicked, splashed by the shower or block floor cleaning.
