What Anlin actually sells
Anlin’s replacement-window catalog is organized around related vinyl series. Catalina is the main symmetrical-frame line and offers single-slider, single-hung, picture and geometric units. Coronado supplies companion operating styles such as double-hung, double-slider, casement and awning. Panoramic emphasizes a slimmer frame and more glass area. Del Mar is the upgrade-led series. Malibu covers coordinating patio doors rather than windows.
That matters because a house quote may combine series to obtain the needed operating types. Ask the dealer to identify the series and full configuration for every opening; a single “Anlin windows” line item hides meaningful differences.
Glass packages need climate-specific comparison
Catalina’s current page lists multiple glass packages. Infinit-e is presented as the standard all-climate option, while SunMatrix and SunShield target stronger solar control and CoolShield/Luminance shift the balance for milder or colder conditions. Marketing names are not enough. Compare the NFRC U-factor, solar heat-gain coefficient and visible transmittance for each exact unit and choose based on climate, orientation and shading.
More solar control is not automatically better on every elevation. A west-facing hot-climate opening and a shaded cold-climate opening can need different glass. Tempered, laminated or impact glazing may be required by location or code; put that requirement in the order.
Quote and installation checks
Measure egress and ventilation requirements before changing operating style. The contract should state full-frame or insert replacement, frame and glass color, screens, grids, hardware, sill and trim repair, flashing, insulation, disposal and interior finish. It should also say who handles hidden rot and how change orders are priced.
Request the series-specific warranty and confirm transfer, glass-breakage and labor terms in writing. Save labels and order documents because replacement hardware and glass depend on the installed series and configuration.
Buying route and verdict

Anlin is a reasonable regional vinyl-window shortlist when the dealer provides a series-by-opening schedule and a credible water-management plan. Catalina/Coronado covers conventional styles; Panoramic is the frame-profile choice; Del Mar is the upgrade comparison. Do not accept brand reputation as a substitute for NFRC labels and installation details.
