Research scope: We used Milwaukee’s current 2466-20 page and operator manual. We did not verify calibration, powered rundown speed or One-Key reporting.

What this tool does

The 2466-20 is an M12 Fuel half-inch digital torque wrench with a small motor for fastener rundown and a manual final-torque process. Milwaukee specifies a 12.5–150 ft-lb range and accuracy up to ±2% clockwise and ±3% counterclockwise over its stated working range. It provides audible, LED, display and vibration feedback as target torque approaches.

This is not an impact wrench and the motor is not permission to hammer a fastener tight. Set an appropriate rundown value below the target, then complete the pull as the manual directs. That combined workflow is useful for repeated, documented assembly; it is costly overkill for a homeowner who torques wheel fasteners a few times a year.

Package and data features

Model 2466-20 includes the wrench, case and calibration certificate. It does not include an M12 battery or charger. The 2466-22 kit adds the power components. The related 2465 uses a 3/8-inch anvil and a different range.

One-Key can store fastener results and produce reports. That matters where an owner, inspector or quality system requires records. App connectivity adds little when no one needs the data, and records do not prove the correct specification, socket, joint condition or tightening sequence was used.

Calibration and safe use

Milwaukee says the included calibration certificate is valid for 12 months from first use. Follow the manual for periodic calibration and post-overload inspection; job or regulatory requirements may call for a shorter interval. Store the wrench in its case, do not use it as a breaker bar and avoid torque values outside its range.

Look up the fastener manufacturer’s exact torque and sequence. Wheel, structural and pressurized-system work can be safety critical; qualified service is appropriate when the specification or joint condition is uncertain.

Verdict and buying route

The 2466-20 earns its price for repeated 1/2-inch torque work that benefits from faster rundown and traceable records. A quality manual click or digital wrench is the more rational homeowner purchase when documentation and volume do not matter.
