The TOTO Drake CST776CSFG is a two-piece, elongated toilet with a 1.6-gallon-per-flush Tornado Flush system, Universal Height bowl, and CEFIONTECT glaze. It is easy to confuse with other Drake variants, so the full model code matters more than the family name.

Fit before features

TOTO’s CST776CSFG specification sheet calls for a nominal 12-inch rough-in. It lists a minimum flowing pressure of 8 psi and gives the assembled footprint needed to check door, vanity, and supply-valve clearance.

The standard package combines bowl C776CEFG with tank ST776SA. A seat and supply line are not included. Add both, plus a new seal and any floor repair, to the installed cost. Do not order the similar CST776CSFG.10 unless the flange is actually 10 inches from the finished wall.

Ownership details

A two-piece design leaves a tank-to-bowl gasket and mounting hardware to assemble, but TOTO publishes a parts manual with replaceable flush-valve seals, fill valves, trip levers, and gaskets. That parts map is more useful than broad reliability claims because it shows what can be identified later.

CEFIONTECT is a glaze, not a substitute for cleaning. Use products and tools allowed by TOTO; abrasive cleaning can damage finishes.

Verdict

The CST776CSFG fits buyers who specifically want a 1.6 GPF, elongated, Universal Height Drake and have a 12-inch rough-in. Measure first, price the missing seat and supply line, and use a plumber when the flange, floor, shutoff, or back-to-back drain layout is questionable.
